Rocky Mountain Gas Association Certification Exam

This test is comprised of 100 test questions. This test is timed. The time limit is 3 hours and 20 minutes. You must obtain a passing score of 80% or better. If this score is not achieved during your first testing session you pay request a (re-test voucher). You can use this voucher for one more free attempt at the exam you have purchased. If you fail to pass the exam with the required 80% or better the second time, then you will have to pay the school for another attempt to take this exam.

Note:

• The RMGA Exam now has a few questions related to "Retrofitting."  These concepts are covered in a new section of the 2016 RMGA Study Guide.  However, if a student has an older version of the RMGA Study Guide, they will want a print out of the 'Retrofitting' Section during the exam. Please ask your proctor if you would like a copy of this.

This is a open book exam. The only books and materials that are allowed are the following:

• Blue Questar Good Practices for Gas Piping Book
• RMGA Study Guide
• International Fuel Gas Code Book
• Retrofitting Study Guide (if needed)

Items Not permitted:

• Cell Phones
• E-Books

After the Exam is complete you will need to fill out, and print the RMGA Temporary Certificate and give it to your proctor.

If the exam was not passed with a score of 80% or better then fill out, and print the Re-Test Voucher. The proctor if asked can give you your individual scores from the different sections that you may need to study for.
